Much of Franzen’s business is the development and production of custom locks for luggage, cases and firearm manufacturers as well as motorcycle locks, and locks for leather goods, saddle bags, strap holders, and enclosures of all kinds. By developing its own highly competitive infrastructure in Europe and Asia, Franzen has been able to offer its long standing client base of OEMs the unique combination of hi-level engineering and low-cost production.

Engineering	Our product development combines decades of experience in development of mechanical subassemblies with the latest technology. Competent, precise and innovative transformation of product ideas into products suitable for mass production. We engineer mechanical solutions from single components to complex assembled products. The use of state of the art hard- and software, online data exchange and processing a variety of data formats including 3 D CAD-System Unigraphics. Always focused on product quality, production cost and project-runtimes the project-engineers, tool and mold makers and quality control specialists collaborate closely already in this initial stage.

Tool and Mold Making	The Franzen-group has a wealth of experience in making Molds Stamping Tools Zinc Die-Casting Tools Assembly Jigs. To ensure highest levels of quality, flexibility and cost efficiency our carefully chosen partners (specialist situated around the world) build our molds and tools to our specs, working under the direction of our German engineers & project management teams. Maintenance is guaranteed by our own skilled staff in our in house tool shop. We offer high quality tools at very competitive prices. We ensure the availability of tools and molds for extensive projects on time and on budget.
